Understanding Inferences

March 30, 2023 //  by editor

inferences

Inferences are when someone hints at something, but doesn’t say what it is directly

You have to find clues within the reading to help you make the correct conclusion about what you think they are trying to say. Take your time reading – they are not as easy as you may think. You have to do a little detective work and try to imagine what the person is thinking and why.
